(Together with all the pre-prep that entails and the post-facto reporting and analysis.) If you haven’t gone on a business trip for > 20 months, as was our case, you will find your packing, TSA, and “autopilot” skills suffer from a deep skein of rust.
Be that as it may, humans are a profoundly social species and there’s nothing like it.
And no, global metropolitan centers are not under existential threat, either, but that’s a topic for another day, or year.
