We’re following Horace Greeley’s advice and heading to the Pacific Northwest.

Thanks to the generosity of our friends at the LMA Northwest, we’ll be presenting in both Portland and Seattle on “Growth Is Dead: Now What?

Both events are 8:00–9:00 am:

  • Portland on Tuesday, September 23rd  at the offices of Stoel Rives;
  • And Seattle on Thursday, the 25th  at the offices of K&L Gates (and our deep thanks to both firms for volunteering their conference rooms).

Information, including registration, for the Portland event is here – and  for Seattle here; some of the highlights include:

  • What it means to say “growth is dead”;
  • The increasing dispersion of results among firms, with some firms pulling away from the pack while others struggle to tread water;
  • The unprecedented importance of managing a firm’s business as a business, including the imperative of strong, talented, independent C-suite professionals.

Attendees will even get a copy of our new book A New Taxonomy: The Seven Law firm Business Models.

We hope to see you there!

PS:  We’also still have a bit of free time in both cities, so if you’d like to meet up – just let us know.
